"Ghost Opera" Opening September 25, 2020 at Prama Artspace & Gallery
I'm thrilled to share that I will be exhibiting my theater box assemblages at the upcoming "Ghost Opera" exhibition at Prama Artspace and Gallery in Parma, Ohio. This growing body of work has been my obsession for the past 18 months. The Covid-19 pandemic has allowed me to really indulge my imagination and create more of these little gems. Each piece is a set created for an imaginary play or opera. The viewer is invited to invent the narrative taking place.
Also showing at "Ghost Opera" are the lusciously dramatic paintings of Cecelia Ivy Price. We hope to see you at the opening reception Friday, September 25 from 6:00-10:00 pm. "Ghost Opera" continues through October 18.
