Rust Exhibition Opens at Heights Arts

Greetings and I hope the new year finds you well and happy. As we enter another pandemic year I see so many of us finding positive and creative ways to help each other, and ourselves, to cope. I am naively hopeful the pandemic will be behind us this time next year.

I've hit the ground running this month with my first exhibition of 2022. Rust opens at Heights Arts in Cleveland Heights, Ohio on January 14 and runs through March 13. I'm honored to be exhibiting along with seven of NE Ohio's great artists: William Broulliard, Stephen Yusko, Doug Meyer, Pamela Pastoric, Matthew Albright, Adrian DesJardins, and Micheal Costello, Each of these artists embodies the rust belt aesthetic of reuse and reclamation of materials representing our manufacturing and industrial heritage in the Great Lakes region. Also exhibiting at Heights Arts during Rust is local watercolor artist, Jesse Rhinehart. His evocative paintings feature local sites and fit well with the overall Rust Belt theme.

Watch the video for a great preview of the show along with an introduction by exhibition curator, Sharon Grossman. If you are in the NE Ohio area stop by during gallery hours. Visitors (up to 20 at a time) are welcome as long as they are masked. If you see the show drop me a line. I'd love to hear from you. lindamayerfineart@gmail.com
